The GreenMeUp project team recently convened in Tallinn, Estonia for a productive review meeting hosted by the Estonian Biogas Association where also International Advisory Board’s experts from Brazil, Canada, India, USA and China participated, fostering a vibrant exchange of knowledge on the global biomethane landscape.
Beyond the meeting room, the team embarked on tours of two operational biomethane plants. It was a true meeting of minds, fostering collaboration and propelling the project forward.
Enhancing their understanding, the partners toured two biomethane plants. Expert guides led them through the entire biomethane production process, showcasing how these facilities function at each step.
The first plant (image above) is very close to the city of Tallinn and it manage waste coming from the near municipality, while the second plant (image below) is fed with agricultural waste coming from the near by farm, creating a perfect example of circlular economy, being able to produce electricity and fuel for road transport.
