PESTEL Policy Workshop in target countries: Poland

The GreenMeUp project continues to gain momentum. Target countries across Europe kicked off a series of PESTEL (Policy, Economy, Social, Technological, Environmental, and Legal) Workshops – the third round of meetings with key biomethane stakeholders.

In Poland, our partners, Polska Izba Gospodarcza Energetyki Odnawialnej i Rozproszonej, hosted a dynamic workshop on November 22nd. This event brought together a diverse group of participants, including government officials, scientists, and business leaders, fostering a collaborative environment for discussing the future of Poland’s biomethane market.

The workshop delved into three crucial areas: legislative frameworks, market dynamics, and environmental considerations. Participants actively shared their perspectives, identified challenges, and brainstormed potential solutions. This rich exchange of ideas was fueled by the unique blend of expertise represented – from public policy to cutting-edge research to real-world industry experience.

A big thanks to our Polish partners for organizing this successful workshop, and to DBFZ Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum gemeinnützige GmbH for providing the guidelines and coordinating these vital PESTEL discussions across target countries.
